A week of highs and lows

It has been a very busy week. We were so excited when we got our first lamb on Friday. Then the little thing was trodden on and got a broken leg. We called the vet who put a cast on, but has warned that the brake is in a tricky spot to fix. The little lamb had to be taken away from Bramble, his mother as could not feed, so we are now feeding him. It is now day 3 and he is doing really well. He can stand and walk a little and seems apart from the leg, in good health. Fingers crossed that his leg heals under the cast.
